The Wildcard Brewery was founded on the back of a hobby that got way out of hand. Starting out as cuckoo brewers trading on the back of a personal credit card, the outfit is an unlikely success stories that punches well above it's weight. With the backing of peer-to-peer lending from local supporters, the brewery moved into it's own site in Walthamstow in January 2014 where it operates a six brewers barrel kit. They have achieved a reputation for no-nonsense, uncompromising beers. For the brewery making a positive contribution to the community is as important as making great beer. They do this by collaborating with other small businesses on new products and events, and also by regularly provide sponsorship for and host local charity fundraisers. The Wildcard is also proud to be a certified London Living Wage employer providing jobs in our Brewery and Tap Room for 16 people in the local area. Head Brewer Jaega Wise is well known for promoting women in brewing and challenging sexism within the brewing industry. She is also a great DJ and singer! For more please details visit:
